We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Companion Animal and Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a super friendly, family feel practice that prides itself on providing a good work-life balance and on-the-job support for our colleagues.
As a Veterinary Surgeon with our practice, you will be working primarily in small animal medicine, with farm on-call responsibilities. You will have access to a range of advanced equipment, including DR x-ray, new ultrasound, dental x-ray, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, and multi-parameters. We have a growing orthopaedic caseload and perform some more advanced soft tissue procedures in-house too.
Our purpose-built Large Animal unit includes two Easi-scan ultrasound scanners, bull and tup fertility testing equipment and in-house hospitalisation facilities including a calf warmer alongside all the usual equipment. Our large animal caseload does not include equine and is mainly beef and sheep with minimal dairy work, some camelids and goats are seen too. We have pool cars meaning no smells in your own vehicle

Our team is supported by a large Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) and front of house team.
