Job Title: Social Media Director
Job Summary:
Salt, a global communications agency specializing in the arts and culture space, is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Director to join their established team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for client liaison, translating high-level strategies into actionable social media plans, and managing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of social media strategies and implementation plans for multiple client accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on social media performance and timelines.
- Provide market insights and the latest trends in social media to inform client strategies.
- Utilize social media listening and analytical tools to report on post performance and inform future decision-making.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to execute day-to-day social media activities, including content planning, posting, community management, and reporting.
- Lead and manage the Social Media Executive and an intern.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in successfully managing social media accounts in a comparable space (arts, architecture, culture).
- Ability to develop executional plans from strategic directives.
- Excellent communication, writing, and leadership skills.
- Ideal candidate has mentored or managed a small team.
- Deep passion for arts and culture.
