The Opportunity

Child sexual exploitation and abuse is a pressing global issue that requires a comprehensive and evidence-driven response. However, the lack of reliable data and analysis hinders the development of effective prevention and response strategies. This post offers a unique opportunity to provide senior research leadership and drive forward data partnerships, prevalence estimates, and impact in the European region and beyond.

This full-time position, with a contract review date of 30 April 2028, requires a Professorial Chair holder with an outstanding academic profile, a PhD in public health or a related field, and an established track record of internationally-excellent research in child sexual exploitation and abuse. The successful candidate will lead research and attract funding as a PI of research grants, engage in knowledge exchange through effective public engagement, and work with child protection system actors.
