About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team at People Solutions. As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating sales and profits, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer base in assigned territories
  • Complete and maintain all customer records
  • Make cold calls to new accounts and reactivate dormant accounts
  • Execute monthly territory reviews and provide best-in-class customer service
  • Provide timely responses to customer requests and provide prompt quote responses
  • Interface with customers in assigned territories to generate sales and profits
  • Maintain contact with all customers in territory via phone, email, and visits
  • Visit customers in assigned territories via scheduled meetings
  • Generate profitable revenue through order closing and order taking
  • Process customer orders and enter orders into the StelPlan system
  • Update quotation logs and all other correspondence relative to customer RFQs, orders, and quotations
  • Provide feedback to management and administrative departments
  • Communicate relevant feedback from customer bases and pertinent information from customers' customers
  • Assist in maintaining A/R integrity with all customers in assigned territories
  • Execute credit and RA forms and resolve sales-related credit issues with customers
  • Obtain financial information when requested and review and be aware of account status, dates, and A/R balances
  • Maintain open communication with customers on A/R issues
  • Execute management strategies for sales development
  • Solicit and respond to customer quotations for various new product initiatives
  • Provide feedback to sales management and administrative departments on new product lines
  • Promote new product lines with current and prospective account bases
  • Timely responsiveness to action-related emails
  • Respond to sales management on questions or projects assigned
  • Participate in departmental and/or other company meetings
Requirements
  • Strong academic record with GCSE/A-levels or equivalent
  • Customer-facing experience and aerospace industry knowledge
  • Very good understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical and IT skills
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Good understanding of business and ability to explain technical financial information clearly to non-finance people
