HSDU Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our HSDU Team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing quality sterilized goods and services to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare goods and services for customers utilizing all areas in the department.
• Assist with the distribution of sterile and clean supplies to theatre, wards, and other departments.
• Operate equipment such as washer disinfectors and sterilizers.
• Be receptive to training and development opportunities.
• Assist with stores handling and stock control.
• Support senior departmental staff.
• Contribute to an effective, motivated, and competent workforce, adhering to high-quality standards.
• Monitor and control production within HSDU, ensuring priority requests and contractual turnaround times are met.
• Ensure adherence to Trust and departmental values and behaviors at all times.
• Previous experience working in a Sterile Services Department is essential.
