Company Overview: Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor specializing in various projects including highways, bridges, infrastructure, groundworks, frames, and specialized works. We are looking for an Estimator who possesses a diverse experience in civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client visits and follow-up communications.
- Participate in pre-contract and post-contract discussions.
- Prepare detailed specifications and inquiries for material, plant, and subcontract procurement.
- Demonstrate technical skills in organizing, planning, and prioritizing tasks.
- Utilize online estimating software effectively.
- Maintain a solid understanding of Risk Assessments, Health and Safety, and Environmental Legislation.
- Exhibit proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and experience with estimating software.
