Nuclearsectorjobs is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Control Systems Specialist.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming and design to join our team in Taunton. As a Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the manufacture, modification, and repair of electrical/electronic control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for high-profile clients across regulated engineering sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, and Marine.
  • Work on first-class, bespoke equipment within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
  • Provide technical support to the engineering team and contribute to project management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement control systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in control systems design and programming.

About You:

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a relevant qualification and experience designing and programming control systems. You should be interested in developing into a lead engineering role within the company and becoming the 'go to' controls engineer.
