About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Winding Specialist to join our team. As a Winding Specialist, you will be responsible for testing, rewinding, and repairing electrical motors. You will work with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and rewind electrical motors
  • Use burnout techniques to remove old windings
  • Detail and rewind AC/DC motor windings
  • Connect and test windings
  • Impregnate and stovewindings
  • Use specialist tools and assist with other key tasks in the workshop

About You

  • Driving license
  • Formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment
  • Experience of both AC and DC winding (AC experience considered)
  • Confident in carrying out fitting tasks as well as winding
  • Safety of you and your colleagues is your priority
  • Work well in a team and can work on your own initiative
