About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping Procurement professional to join our team. As a Shipping Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiating with vendors, and optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement processes for shipping and terminal services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Optimize costs and identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements and vendor negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations and logistics teams.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience in operations within the maritime, shipping, or logistics industries.
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness, particularly in Terminal and Port Services, Marketing/ Trade, Procurement and Operations.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Proven ability in cost optimisation, budgeting, and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
