Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at Little Rainbows Nursery c/o St Bede Childcare Ltd as a Room Leader of our Tinies Room, caring for children aged 15-24 months. The ideal candidate will have a genuine drive for working with young children and providing them with a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities for children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  2. Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
  3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members, building strong relationships and fostering a sense of community.
  4. Provide leadership and support to assistant educators, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  5. Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging children to explore and learn through play.

Requirements

  1. Experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  2. Hold a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in childcare and education principles.
  3. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
  4. Ability to manage and organise nursery activities effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  5. Passion for childcare and creating a positive learning experience, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
