We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at Llamau Limited, a leading organization in the field of youth homelessness prevention. As a Mediation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing preliminary advice, advocacy, and support to young people in partnership with our Advice and Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To explore all aspects of potential prevention of homelessness in partnership with Mediation Workers / Advice Workers and partner agencies.
  • To build/maintain positive working relationships with partnership agencies, limiting duplication for the young person, and ensuring all of their needs are met.
  • To provide flexible support to young people, meeting their needs and wishes, and encouraging maximum engagement in support / early access to advice and homelessness prevention.
  • To remain calm and composed in challenging and traumatic situations, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people.

Requirements:

  • A forward-thinking attitude to crisis response and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and partner agencies.
