Job Title: Technical Writer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Lockheed Martin UK Ltd. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical publications to support our aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical publications to industry-standard specifications.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and create content.
  • Validate publications to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Support the development of project-specific Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Provide timely notification of potential problems and proposed solutions.
  • Develop and support databases to support internal processes and technical publications.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in aerospace (military/commercial) with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using Framemaker software.
  • Detailed experience of authoring Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) content.
  • Knowledge and experience of producing Data Module content for Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP).
  • Understanding of Def Stan 0060/00600 and Defence Logistics Framework (DLF) requirements.
