Security Operations Manager

Job Summary:
MAN Commercial Protection is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the security operations at two busy Distribution Centres in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and organizing the security team, ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Supervise and manage the access and egress of staff and visitors, ensuring that all security protocols are followed.
- Emergency Services Liaison: Coordinate with emergency services, including fire tests and emergency response planning.
- Site Security: Conduct regular internal and external site patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the security team to ensure effective day-to-day operations, including planning and rota management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on security incidents and trends.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to VIP guests and visitors, ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements:
- Security Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security role, with a valid SIA license.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, visitors, and emergency services.
