About the RoleThis is a permanent position teaching a mixed KS1/2 class of up to 7 pupils with complex learning needs and severe learning difficulties (SLD). The class will be well-supported with 3-4 SEN TAs working in class to support learners in accessing the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a mixed KS1/2 class of up to 7 pupils with complex learning needs and severe learning difficulties (SLD)
- Develop and implement adapted curricula to meet the needs of pupils with SLD
- Work closely with SEN TAs to support learners in accessing the curriculum
- Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- QTS holder with experience teaching children with SLD
- Passion for securing the best outcomes for children with special educational needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with SEN TAs and other staff members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
