Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 7.5T Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of electrical products to our customers' homes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver, install, and demonstrate electrical products, including White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers, to customers' properties.
  • Engage with customers, providing clear communication and ensuring their delivery and installation experience meets the highest standards.
  • Maintain regular contact with the site to manage changes to customer delivery requests and escalate any unplanned issues.
  • Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery as necessary.
  • Handle products safely and with care, supporting colleagues to do the same.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role and manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle.
  • Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and law, as well as company and health and safety policies.
Requirements
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face.
  • Ability to work flexibly, alone or collaboratively with colleagues, to ensure business success.
  • Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle or meet criteria to train towards license.
  • Ability to use initiative to problem-solve in a timely and calm manner.
