Group Financial Accountant Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working in an exclusive partnership with an international PE-owned business as they seek a Group Financial Accountant to join their Group finance team.

This is a role that will suit a first-time mover from practice, preferably a fully qualified Accountant who trained with a Top 10 Firm. If successful, you will develop your experience significantly, not just in the day-to-day tasks, but also through undertaking a variety of ad-hoc projects that will be part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monthly management accounts for two holding companies
  • Preparing the group consolidated management accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly Board pack
  • Overseeing daily cash reporting
  • Daily review and processing Group cash requirements
  • Planning, tracking, paying, and accounting for all FX trades and swaps
  • Cashflow forecasting (including consolidated) and reporting externally
  • Bank account management and processing
  • Holding company VAT submission
  • Assisting with the production of various financial reports relating to company financing
  • Supporting with the statutory audit
  • Year-end accounts preparation
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Group recharges
  • Managing and liaising with credit insurers
  • Quarterly sales reporting for multiple sites
  • Ad-hoc projects across the business
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA qualification
  • First-time mover from practice - preferably from a Top 10 Firm - industry background will be considered, but strong technical accounting skills are essential
  • Strong technical accounting skills and audit background (IFRS, UKGAAP)
  • Ambitious and keen to develop/progress
  • Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
