Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial properties across various contracts in Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reactive maintenance throughout client portfolios of properties
  • Self-delivery of smaller installations
  • Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems
  • Diagnose and identify faults and failures within equipment
  • Order and fit parts or components to equipment when required
  • Reactive and planned commercial maintenance
  • Provide high-level customer service and build strong relationships
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
Requirements:
  • Commercial gas qualifications - COCN1 CORT1 CIGA1 TPCP1 &1A ICPN1
  • Ability to service and fault-find on commercial gas appliances using electrical testing equipment
  • Ability to use own initiative to problem-solve in challenging situations
  • Industry-standard completed apprenticeship
  • Full clean driving license
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible to support the role and team
  • Able to work alone under limited supervision
  • Able to operate handheld electronic devices
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of up to £49,000
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm working hours
  • Travel time paid, excluding first and last half hour
  • 1-hour paid lunch break
  • Call-out 1 in 4, with a minimum of 4 hours paid
