Salary: £200 - £240 per hour (Inside IR35)
About the Role:
Eames Consulting is working with an Aviation company to secure the services of a skilled IT Security Analyst on an initial 6-month contract. As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network security solutions to protect their infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network security architectures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
- Configure network firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and honeypots to detect and prevent cyber threats.
- Develop and implement software solutions using programming languages such as Python and Rust.
- Design and execute innovation and solution development projects to improve network security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber threats.
Requirements:
- BPSS+ Clearance
- Experience in network security design and implementation
- Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies
- Programming skills in languages such as Python and Rust
- Experience with software development and scripting
- Ability to design and execute innovation and solution development projects
Desirable Skills:
- Industrial Control Security
- Cloud and other Cyber Security topics
- Cyber industry publication (blogs, SANS articles etc)
- Recent Cyber Security research publications
- Managing NDAs, IPR, Patent Applications
- Spoken and written French or German
- Certifications such as Cisco R&S / CCNA / CCNA-S
- Data Analytics / AI/ML applied to Network Security (tools and techniques)
