Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Operations Manager to join our team at ANY-Web Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations and successful execution of all sea freight imports and exports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage and lead a team of 10 professionals to ensure efficient and effective ocean freight operations.
  • General Operations: General day-to-day running of UK sea freight office including warehouse/health and safety/office maintenance/holidays etc.
  • Import/Export Management: Handle import & export consignments for via sea freight.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse operational performance and implement continuous improvement.
  • Team Performance: Overseeing team performance and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Compliance: Collaborate with customs brokers and other authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in ocean freight operations, customs clearance, and international trade regulations.
  • Air Freight Knowledge: Air freight knowledge is an advantage.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as an ocean freight operations manager.
