Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimating and Cost Management: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Cost Factor Identification: Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and proposals to clients.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and update a database of historical data for cost reference.
  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
  • Project Cost Monitoring: Monitor and report on project costs and progress.
  • Cost Control Strategies: Assist in the development and implementation of cost control strategies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or electrical contracting industry.
