About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with a physical disability to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and transfers
  • Support with domestic duties, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany the individual to appointments and social events
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Assist with medication management and administration

Requirements

  • Experience working with adults with physical disabilities
  • Positive attitude towards disability
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Basic reading, writing, and number skills
