The role involves delivering a high-quality staffing solution for educational institutions and supply staff across the Kent and Medway regions, thereby enhancing the reputation of New Directions Education and fostering business growth through satisfied clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, screen, and maintain productive relationships with candidates available for supply roles within your designated area.
  • Build connections with various school personnel, including heads of departments and supply coordinators, to promote our services effectively.
  • Conduct a minimum number of school visits weekly, as outlined by your Manager, to generate new business and provide excellent follow-up services to existing clients.
  • Establish new school partnerships through strategic outreach, ensuring additional opportunities for registered supply staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in your area that require educational supply personnel, organizing meetings to showcase our services.
  • Efficiently manage telephone communications with clients and candidates while updating the database with relevant information.
  • Conduct proactive sales calls to secure assignments for supply staff, adhering to established processes and standards.
  • Maintain regular contact with supply staff to ensure their availability for work through New Directions Education.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administration, reporting, and record-keeping in compliance with company regulations.
  • Prepare high-quality CVs and profiles for supply staff seeking long-term placements.
  • Meet branch KPIs as set by the Branch Manager.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a recruitment consultant role, with a minimum of 12 months in a billing capacity.
  • Strong understanding of revenue generation and budget management.
  • Exceptional negotiation and margin control skills.
  • Ability to foster effective relationships with candidates, clients, and the local community.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).
  • Possession of a full driving license.
