About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support our procurement department. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing and contract management of medical equipment, associated services, and indirect categories.
- Deliver cost savings against agreed targets.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to business requirements.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and ensure regular communication.
- Review and process requisitions and purchase orders on NetSuite on a timely basis.
- Ensure clients are supported in case of delays in processing requisitions or delivery of goods for outstanding purchase orders.
- Catalog management involves adding new items, updating pricing or item information, removing out-of-stock items, and organizing items into categories for easy browsing on NetSuite.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in end-to-end procurement or category management, ideally in healthcare.
- Proven track record in complex indirect and/or capital equipment and services procurement.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Well-organized and able to work to deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time within a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
