About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the sales process, offering advice and support to progress sales smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Advising: Provide expert guidance to customers on shared ownership sales, ensuring a smooth and successful sales process.
  • Sales Suite Presentation: Maintain a well-presented and welcoming sales suite, showcasing available units to potential buyers.
  • Database Management: Manage and update the sales database to keep all customer and sales information current.
  • Customer Engagement: Meet and greet customers on-site, providing a warm and professional welcome.
  • Customer Qualification: Collect customer details and assess their requirements to provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Enquiries: Handle incoming sales enquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Property Viewings: Conduct property viewings, showcasing available units to potential buyers.
  • Stock Unit Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of stock units, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Shared Ownership: Strong knowledge and experience in managing shared ownership sales.
  • Exceptional Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
  • High-End Property Sales Experience: A solid track record in selling premium properties, within the new homes sector.
  • Target-Driven: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Confident in using computer systems, including Microsoft Excel, Teams, and in-house CRM platforms.
  • Customer-Centric: A keen focus on customer satisfaction with great attention to detail.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £30k+ basic, £50k OTE depending on experience.
  • Flexible Working Hours: Tuesday-Saturday working, with Sunday and Monday off.
