At Halmer Recruit, we are actively seeking a dedicated individual for a permanent role within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
- Support the Goods In Team Leader with daily operational tasks.
- Handle the loading and unloading of vehicles and containers.
- Receive materials into the warehouse, ensuring accurate checks on quantity and quality before storage.
- Facilitate the movement of goods throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in conducting daily cycle counts and participate in the annual stock audit.
- Palletize and securely wrap outgoing finished products.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations or goods reception.
- Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Familiarity with goods in processes is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Sage 200 or stock management systems is a plus, though not essential.
- Understanding of warehouse health and safety protocols is required (in-house training will be provided).
- Must exhibit punctuality and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Working Hours and Compensation:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:15 PM.
- Opportunities for occasional overtime may be available.
- 30-minute lunch break, along with 15-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.
- Annual salary of £26,000.
