Senior Accountant / Client Manager Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable chartered accountancy practice in the South East of England, seeking a qualified Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their team. Our client is a well-established, multi-partner practice with a diverse client portfolio, offering a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious and career-driven Senior Accountant / Client Manager.

You will manage your own client portfolio across accounts, tax, and technical advisory services, reporting directly to the partners. There is a great opportunity to progress within this growing accountancy practice to Director level and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and review of accounts and tax returns for a wide range of companies.
  • Advising clients on tax and advisory matters, and being their first point of contact.
  • Supporting clients with ad-hoc project work, such as consolidated accounts, cashflows, and corporate finance.
  • Working closely with the partners and team to ensure clients receive the best service and advice.
Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3+ years of general practice experience at a medium-large independent practice, top 10, or big 4 practice.
  • Competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work.
  • Fully conversant with accounting and tax standards, demonstrating skilled commercial acumen.
  • Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and preferably knowledge of Iris, Sage, and Xero.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
