We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team at the Inverclyde Foodbank as a Charity & Fundraising Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community and contribute to our mission of ensuring no one in our community faces the prospect of going hungry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively creating and growing fundraising income, supporting individuals, local businesses, grant funders, schools, community groups, and associations within and around Inverclyde. You will have first-hand experience of fundraising and the capacity to create and deliver compelling fundraising activities that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to increase income and sustainability
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community groups
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities and partnerships
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and deliver fundraising campaigns and events
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fundraising and community development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and passionate about making a difference in the community

Location: This will be a hybrid role with the candidate spending 1 day a week minimum in either the church office or food bank in Greenock.
