Role Overview
As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees and operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs across all aspects of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement effective safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant legislation and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Graduate member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Proficient in computer use, including report writing and data analysis.
