Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for working with adults with learning disabilities. As a key member of the Community Learning Disability Team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality speech and language therapy service to patients allocated to you.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, develop, and implement speech and language therapy treatment and management plans for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Supervise pre-registration students and provide clinical support to team members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative communication tools and strategies.
  • Lead and manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, prioritizing key tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders.
