Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview

  • Overseeing the seamless daily functioning of building systems and services to ensure a pleasant experience for guests across multiple properties.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with all relevant statutory and health and safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance benchmarks while meeting budgetary goals.
  • Directing and supervising maintenance teams and external contractors to facilitate safe, efficient, and effective management of all building systems, ensuring high standards of maintenance throughout the hotels.
  • Providing guidance and expertise to the Facilities Contracts Manager.
  • Utilizing engineering expertise and various information sources to ensure efficient, cost-effective property maintenance to the highest standards.
  • Managing all engineering and maintenance activities, including the upkeep of the existing structure, grounds, and physical facilities, with a strong focus on safety, security, and asset protection.
  • Responsible for budget management, capital project expenditures, preventative maintenance, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and leading the emergency response team for all facility-related issues.
  • Maintaining mechanical and electrical services, architectural features, and decorative elements to uphold the high standards for the designated hotel cluster.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor, preferably in the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Relevant mechanical or electrical certifications.
  • Expertise in safety and facilities management.
  • Strong financial management and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with hotel policies and sustainability practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the legal right to live and work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
