The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a design team leader role. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent cost-effective designs and their timely issue, while maintaining compliance with all relevant quality performance requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Issuing manufacturing drawings and managing the Engineering Design Team
- Posting manufacturing details to ERP / OPERA
- Issuing material requirements to the Purchasing function
- Ensuring documentation, including manuals, is up to date at all times
- Developing effective working relations with other teams
We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively organize and manage the diverse engineering team, and a strong commitment to prioritizing in a pressurized environment.
