About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to join our team at TransUnion. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our tax function across EMEA, providing strategic tax advice and guidance to our business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize our global tax position
- Provide tax advice and guidance to our business units on all aspects of tax, including income tax, VAT, and indirect taxes
- Manage and coordinate tax compliance activities across EMEA, including tax returns, audits, and controversy
- Collaborate with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely tax provision and reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance on their impact on our business
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals to ensure effective tax planning and compliance
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in tax leadership roles, preferably in a large public accounting firm or multinational company
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, VAT, and indirect taxes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic advice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
