Position Overview
Morrison Energy Services is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee operations on our infrastructure projects.


In this pivotal role, you will be an integral member of our Substation Development Team, responsible for executing the construction and refurbishment of electrical substations, including the installation of switchgear, transformers, and associated cabling.

This dynamic position requires you to manage and direct construction activities from initiation to completion, serving as the primary liaison for stakeholders.

Morrison Energy Services is dedicated to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions, including design, project oversight, cable laying, building construction, jointing, switchgear installation, bunding, commissioning, decommissioning, and demolition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of site personnel and subcontractors.
2. Develop and enforce safety documentation, including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
3. Assess training needs for site staff.
4. Engage with clients through audits and progress meetings.
5. Manage procurement of materials utilizing digital systems.
6. Inform management of potential variations and maintain accurate records.
7. Prepare documentation and As-Built records for project handover.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

1. HNC / Degree Level qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Completion of CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme.
3. Temporary Works Supervisor certification.
4. Experience in construction and the electrical sector.
5. Ability to work in substations up to 132kV.
6. Familiarity with NEC contracts.
7. Understanding of current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
8. Experience in cost/value reporting.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
10. Valid driving license.
