Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Machine Operators for a reputable client in the manufacturing sector.

This role offers a permanent position following a successful trial period of 12 weeks.

Experience Requirements:

While prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting is preferred, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading materials into machinery
  • Monitoring the operation of machinery to ensure efficiency
  • Reporting any production-related issues to the Supervisor
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Conducting quality checks on finished products
  • Packaging products for distribution

Desired Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Previous experience in a factory environment is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Competence in working efficiently and accurately
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Work Schedule:

Shifts will rotate among three schedules:

Monday to Thursday:

  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:00
  • 22:00 - 06:00

Friday:

  • 06:00 - 12:15
  • 12:15 - 18:30
  • 18:30 - 00:45

Compensation:

  • Day and Evening Shifts - £12.58 per hour
  • Night Shifts - £13.58 per hour
