Job Title: Policy Manager International and Registration

Your new company is seeking an experienced Policy Manager to lead on policy development, analysis, and stakeholder engagement with the UK Government. The post holder will focus on challenging the current status quo and promoting the benefits of changing regulation policy to favour the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of clear end-to-end regulatory policies and standards for the registration of international professionals.
  • Manage complex registration casework, providing advice to internal and external colleagues on legal and policy issues.
  • Lead on policy analysis and engagement, ensuring awareness of external issues affecting the organisation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare bodies to conduct policy analysis.
  • Project manage policy consultations.
  • Represent the organisation at external events and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Extensive policy development experience within the healthcare and regulatory space.
  • Good understanding of the principles of good regulation in the UK and its application to policy development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Significant experience in preparing high-quality policy documents, including position papers, reports, and final documents for senior committees and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of legal principles (via a degree or previous experience).
