About the Role
We are partnering with a leading UK manufacturer of specialized products renowned for their success in the market. Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join their research center team based in Sittingbourne on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Chemistry Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the research center, with a primary focus on sample testing services.
Responsibilities:- Unpack and sort daily samples received for analysis.
- Accurately input sample information into designated systems.
- Prepare samples for analysis by laboratory technicians using advanced instrumentation.
- Ensure the proper disposal of old samples according to established procedures.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A meticulous approach with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proven experience in data entry roles.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- An interest or academic background in Chemistry or a laboratory setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Physical fitness as some lifting may be required.
