We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ground Co-ordination Manager to join our Ground Handling Team at Bournemouth Airport. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airside activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Safely and efficiently manage the airside operation teams in accordance with RCA behaviours, external statutory and regulatory requirements, and all relevant policies and procedures.
- Performance Delivery: Deliver consistent levels of performance within the constraints of service level agreements with our customer airlines, maintaining health and safety standards and excellent working practices.
- Financial Management: Deliver agreed financial targets within budgetary expectations and provide weekly and monthly financial reporting against budget and forecast.
- Leadership and Development: Lead, develop, coach, and motivate managers to develop and utilise their skills, maximising business potential and revenue.
- Relationship Management: Establish, maintain, and promote effective working relationships with both internal and external customers, including employee and union representatives.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and policies, including the Corporate Centre Health and Safety Policy document.
- Support the Ground Operations Manager in delivering the day-to-day safe and efficient operational environment.
- Plan, monitor, and manage the application of day-to-day airport operations, including revenue expenditure and capital expenditure budgets.
- Technical Competency: Strong knowledge of airport operations, including airside management, safety, and security.
- Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and inspire colleagues to achieve their best work.
- Financial Awareness: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Interpersonal Skills: High levels of interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
