Job Summary:

Alfen is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our smart consumer gadgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop and implement mechanical designs for our products, ensuring top-tier quality and performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with contract manufacturer partners and suppliers to meet project goals.
  • Communication: Engage in international communications with our team in Taiwan to bring a global vision to life.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with hands-on involvement in developing and launching multiple consumer products.
  • Skills: Expertise in 3D CAD modeling tools, particularly SolidWorks or Pro Engineer, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Leadership: 1 year of experience in technical leadership or project management.
  • Product Data Management: Familiarity with product data management systems like Agile or Windchill.
  • Contract Manufacturing: Proven ability to build strong technical relationships with contract manufacturers.
