Job Title: Energy Analyst - Renewable Energy Specialist

Ameresco Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Energy Analyst to join our team. As an Energy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing clean technologies and renewable projects for both public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze site information, including utility data, metering data, field measurements, existing system configuration, and operation
  • Perform desktop data analysis, including energy usage analysis, energy modeling, and GIS analysis
  • Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic analysis across various renewable and clean technologies
  • Assist in energy audits and site surveys to identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) at potential customer sites
  • Prepare draft technical reports and manage project supporting documentation detailing buildings, building systems, data analysis results, and energy savings opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Physics, or Environmental Science
  • Minimum one year experience working in energy, renewables, or decarbonization
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Personal Attributes:

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, enthusiastic, and have a flexible approach to work. They should demonstrate good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, prioritize work under pressure, and work well in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects. The job requires the willingness to travel nationwide on a regular basis.
