About the Role

Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team in the Cardiac Services department. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to a varied caseload within different teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload within different teams.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
  • Have basic skills in general x-ray.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
  • Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
  • Participate in on call (must be able to attend site within one hour of call activation).
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme.
  • Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
  • Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose, reporting and informing clinical leads of any faults.
  • Competency in IV cannulation is essential (for CT/MRI trained radiographers).
  • Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
