Job Title: Personal Assistant
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Personal Assistant to join our team in supporting a young man with autism. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling him to maximise his potential for independence within his home and community.
About the Role:
You will work alongside another Personal Assistant to provide high-quality support to meet the individual's needs. This will include supporting him to engage in activities he enjoys, such as dance classes, swimming, and the gym, as well as assisting him with daily living tasks and promoting his independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Support the individual to engage in activities and hobbies, such as dance classes, swimming, and the gym
- Assist the individual with managing his daily routine and promoting his independence
- Work collaboratively with the individual's support team to ensure his needs are met
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
A clean driving licence and be happy to drive the employer's vehicleExperience of working with individuals with autism or other disabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:
