Teaching Personnel is actively seeking dedicated Educational Support Specialists to collaborate within our partner institutions focused on Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) in the Hull area.

Overview of the Institution:

The institution is committed to assisting young individuals in enhancing their emotional health and social capabilities. As a Sports Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in helping students navigate challenges they encounter both in their academic environment and at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in both off-site activities and classroom support, working alongside teaching assistants and fellow support staff on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with students.
  • Foster positive and healthy relationships, focusing on emotional well-being and the development of social skills.
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs, guiding them to achieve their full potential in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Participate in and facilitate various recreational activities, including swimming, team sports, creative play, and music.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals, adapting your approach as necessary.
