Job Summary:

CEH Recruitment is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our client's products, including compact road sweepers, truck mount sweepers, spreaders, airport support equipment, and mowing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of a range of equipment in an efficient and high-quality manner
  • Complete vehicle warranty work as required
  • Ensure all administration is completed accurately and submitted on time, including job sheets, additional work forms, and parts requests
  • Manage and coordinate work issued by the Service Desk
  • Carry out courtesy visits to customers when required
  • Timely and accurate ordering of parts via the Service Desk
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
  • Maintain exemplary customer support and offer flexibility on working hours

Requirements:

  • Candidates would ideally have experience in the industry or an allied discipline such as Heavy Plant Engineering, LGV engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Materials Handling equipment Engineering, or the automotive industry
  • Able to demonstrate a thorough practical and theoretical understanding of the repair and maintenance of IC engines, hydraulic systems, and auto-electrical systems
  • Experience of carrying out repairs to a technical level on high-value capital products
