Catering Supervisor

About the Role
The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, including menu planning, ordering, cooking, and serving. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen team and ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties
- Plan and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of students and staff
- Order and manage inventory of food and supplies
- Ensure that the kitchen and equipment are clean and well-maintained
- Monitor and control food costs and inventory levels
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing environment, preferably in a food service setting
- Ability to manage a team and deliver training and guidance
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and COSHH procedures
- DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity
