Packaging Designer

Lloyd Recruitment Services is pleased to be working with a growing manufacturer in the Crawley area who are looking for a skilled Packaging Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Location: Outskirts of Horley, Surrey - must drive due to location
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

As a Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for interpreting market trends to develop captivating packaging designs tailored for various clientele and prominent retailers.
Your design work will be present in major high street retailers, and you will be involved in the whole process from design concept right through to when it reaches the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities- Innovate and conceptualise new product designs to meet client specifications
- Produce detailed 3D models and visuals for product prototypes
- Design and fabricate 3D printed materials
- Develop precise artwork for products and packaging, ensuring top-tier quality
- Create visually compelling presentations and graphics to support sales initiatives for new products
- Conduct trend research and contribute to new product development
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Experience in 3D rendering and proficiency with tools like Fusion 360
- Expertise in creating cutter guides and packaging design, including compliance elements
- Strong layout abilities and a knack for crafting appealing visual compositions
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all design tasks
- Efficient and adept at meeting deadlines without compromising quality
- Passionate about product design with a proactive approach to learning and adapting
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and openness to feedback
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle due to location
