Position Overview

Kineton is seeking a skilled Vehicle Systems Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the automotive sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment and validation of various vehicle control units and their seamless integration.

Your expertise will also contribute to the formulation of comprehensive Test Cases and the meticulous tracking of any issues identified during testing processes.

Testing will be conducted on Integration test benches and/or vehicles, providing you with the opportunity to engage with the complete lifecycle of vehicle development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough validation of vehicle control units.
  • Support the development of Test Cases and ensure traceability of issues.
  • Perform testing activities on Integration test benches and vehicles.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in dSPACE tools and Vector Canalyzer/CANoe.
  • Strong foundation in electronics and electrical engineering principles.
  • Basic understanding of components and logic utilized in electric vehicles.
  • Familiarity with CAN/LIN protocols.
  • Competence in programming languages such as C and Python.
  • Experience with Mathworks tools (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and associated toolboxes) is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in automotive projects.
  • Fluency in English, ideally supported by international study or work experience.
  • Strong motivation and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments.
