About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Milton Keynes. As an Energy and Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients to achieve their sustainability goals.

This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of working from home combined with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and clients on-site when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct energy assessments and produce SAP calculations for residential developments.
  • Provide expert advice on building regulations, energy efficiency, and sustainable construction practices.
  • Engage with clients to deliver tailored sustainability strategies and solutions.
  • Prepare energy and sustainability reports to ensure compliance with current standards, including Part L and Part O.
  • Collaborate with the design and construction teams to integrate energy-efficient designs.
  • Stay up to date with evolving regulations and best practices within the sustainability sector.
Requirements:
  • OCDEA accreditation (On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor) is essential.
  • Experience in Energy/Sustainability consultancy is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, including Part L and Part O.
  • Experience using IES software for building performance and energy modelling.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality sustainability reports.
  • Experience with SAP calculations and the ability to work with various software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
