About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for maximizing lifting hire revenue opportunities from our existing major account customers.

The Role

Our team is responsible for providing a wide range of lifting equipment and accessories to our customers. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be working closely with our Technical Account Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections across multiple sites to identify potential revenue opportunities
  • Provide customers with solutions for the replacement or repair of failed or damaged equipment
  • Work closely with the Technical Account Manager to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Engineer who has a strong background in the lifting industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience working in a sales or engineering role within the lifting industry
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving license
