Role Overview

The Engagement and Communications Manager role presents an exciting opportunity to support the Head of White Rose in realising a bold new vision and mission that enables our people to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic communications plan for the consortium, fostering networks across the three universities.
  • Oversee the Community Fund, catalysing the establishment of networks and communities across the universities.
  • Produce captivating content across various channels, leveraging a proven track record in storytelling.
  • Collaborate with partners to execute engaging communications campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Manage social media channels and create content that is responsible, accurate, and accessible.
Requirements
  • Level 6 qualification or equivalent non-UK qualifications or professional experience.
  • Substantial experience in strategic communications, with a track record of raising an organisation's profile.
  • Experience in developing and delivering multi-audience communications plans.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with evidence of building collaborative working relationships and networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop effective communications activities.
