Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Clinical Investigation Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational planning and oversight of our Trials Unit's expanding research portfolio of multicentre clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Unit's Operations Group to review, improve and introduce trial processes and unit practices to maximise efficiency.
  • Coordinate resources and timelines across trial teams, and monitor study progress.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and success of the Trials Unit.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical trials into the research portfolio.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.

DiverseJobsMatter is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit based in our School of Medicine. Our mission is to conduct top-quality, high-impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas that will improve health outcomes.

We have a broad and expanding portfolio of trials, including studies evaluating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, medical devices, and complex interventions. In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct, analysis, and reporting.
